Who I Am

I've never been good at putting my feelings into words — but I've always been able to express them through images, shapes, and objects. Growing up in Taipei, Taiwan, I was lucky to have a family with an open mind. They encouraged me to explore, to try new things, and to find my own path — even when that path wasn't always clear.

That journey took me from Taiwan to Canada for my secondary education, then to London for an Art Foundation course, and eventually to Farnham, UK, where I completed both my BA and MA in Jewellery at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). I'm now at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia, USA, studying Creative Business Leadership — learning how to build a creative brand that lasts.

How I Found Jewellery

I was born in 2000 — a year when the world was full of curiosity about space, the future, and technology. That spirit shaped the way I think. I've always been drawn to things that are simple, precise, and meaningful: maths, geometric shapes, clean lines.

The turning point came at the V&A Museum in London. I watched a video of a jeweller setting a stone — slowly, carefully, with complete focus. I couldn't stop watching. I played it again and again. In that moment, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

How I Work

My design language is minimalist. I work primarily in silver and PLA — two materials that represent opposite ends of jewellery history: one ancient, one entirely new. Rather than letting the material lead, I always start with an idea — a moment in history, a geometric form, a feeling — and let the shape emerge first.

I'm inspired by designers who create work that is simple yet unforgettable. Hermès, for their ability to make pieces that feel timeless and never out of place. Rachel Boston, for the deeply personal geometry in every design — proof that you can make jewellery in any shape you can imagine.
